December 2009 - (LONDON) Mootral, developed in Wales is a revolutionary product that helps reduce carbon emissions emanating from ruminants such as cows (i.e. methane from flatulence and belching). Based on a garlic extract, the product is a feed additive that can be added to the animal's daily feed or water. Initial tests have shown a 20% reduction in methane emissions from the animals.
