During the open farm day in Niedersachsen, Germany, the teaching and research farm of the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover in Ruthe opened its gates to the public. From 10am to 6pm on June 17th 2018, visitors could look around the barns and watch demonstrations and presentations that were a part of the diverse and informative program. Information was available about agriculture, animal husbandry, environment and nutrition, at one of the 50 stands and produce stalls. Here visitors could also meet the Mootral team and learn about how to reduce methane emissions by at least 30%!
